Englisch erfährt bei uns einen sehr wichtigen Part im Fächerkanon sowie Stundenplan.

Die Sprache wird dabei sehr flexibel und unterschiedlich eingesetzt und gefördert: 

• spielerischer Schrift-Sprach-Erwerb
• ab der 1. Schulstufe – with many activities
• Einfließen der englischen Sprache
• chants, songs und rhymes 
• Vokabel-Aufbau und -training
• Hören, Nachsprechen und Singen
• sowie Lesen und Vorlesen

Theo, unser Native-Speaker, unterstützt alle Klassenlehrerinnen im team-teaching, sodass Englisch als Unterrichtssprache gesprochen, gehört, gelesen und gelernt wird. Theo beteiligt sich am täglichen Unterrichtsgeschehen und begleitet auch Pausen, Projekte und Ausflüge.

Hello! My name is Theo. I am from Hudson Valley, New York originally, but I have lived in Vienna since June 2023. This is a beautiful city to live in, and I’m so happy to be here. My mother is Austrian and my father is American, so I spent a lot of time here when I was young and I’m very grateful to live here now!

Since moving to Vienna, I have mainly worked as a Native English Speaker in Volksschulen and Kindergarten across the city and I´m so excited to be at this school doing just that.

I love to play guitar and piano, draw, read, play games, and I try to implement all of these into teaching English. These keep the students engaged with the language, and are useful for speaking practice. Thank you very much, I am excited to meet everyone!
